Although recovery may seem like a necessary step to take, some recovering individuals are hesitant to commit to treatment because they are unaware of what to expect.  Recovery Associates of the Palm Beaches understands that those seeking professional help in recovery are more likely to commit if they understand what to expect from the process.  Our intensive outpatient program and other treatment options are defined on our website, as well as through further information provided by our staff members via confidential phone conversations.

The intensive outpatient treatment program at Recovery Associates of the Palm Beaches offers affordable, comprehensive treatment and access to sober living options at nearby sober living homes.  With more than eighty hours of clinically-based groups each week, our intensive outpatient program consists of three tracks.  The traditional track uses proven, cutting-edge scientific methods and holistic approaches to heal the individual and treat their symptoms.  For more information about the tradition track at Recovery Associates, click here.  Our Christian track offers a faith-based approach to recovery that focuses on Christ and the Twelve Spiritual Principles of recovery while utilizing the power of faith and prayer.  To learn more about our Christian track, click  here.  Finally, the expressive therapy track encourages creative expression to promote healing from the inside out.  Click here for more information regarding the expressive therapy track.

Participants of our intensive outpatient program can expect to attend group sessions at least three days a week, totaling in a minimum of nine hours of group activity.  This nine hour total includes a one-on-one sessions with a licensed therapist.  Clients attending our intensive outpatient program can also expect to have the opportunity to meet with a board certified psychiatrist.  Participants are expected to attend nine hours of group sessions, but Recovery Associates encourages them to as many group sessions as possible.

Recovering individuals participating in our intensive outpatient program can expect to do so for approximately three months to a year.  Throughout this time, they are able to reside in a residence of their choice or a nearby sober living home.  As part of the intensive outpatient treatment program, Recovery Associates offers access to sober living options, such as Pathways to Peace for Men, Pathways to Peace for Women, The Enclave and other halfway houses.  Research shows that recovering individuals who commit to residing in a sober living home significantly increase their chances of achieving a successful, long term sobriety.

Intensive outpatient treatment at Recovery Associates offers a client-centered approach that provides individualized treatment plans for each client.  These treatment plans are revisited throughout the recovery process to evaluate progress and make appropriate revisions.  We understand that each client has undergone different circumstances and are committed to meeting the unique needs of each recovering individual we serve.
